The curriculum includes: child development and psychology; therapeutic theories and techniques; music psychology and theory. A bachelor, master or doctoral degree in music therapy is required including a six-month clinical internship and successful completion of the Music Therapy Board Certification Examination every five years. Staff members are trained in nonviolent crisis intervention and participate in various continuing education opportunities.
