It is our goal to provide a safe and nurturing environment, individualized to meet the needs of each client.  The music therapy sessions facilitate self-expression and increase confidence in social interactions.  Music therapy assists in improving difficulties in language development, perceptive and cognitive processing, gross and fine motor skills and maladaptive behavioral patterns.


Develop with music…

Music Therapy can assist in improving fine and gross motor skills as well as motor planning and awareness and control of the body, enable those with language delays to communicate, participate and express themselves non-verbally.  Social interaction, play skills, transitioning and group participation are practiced in a fun and inviting group.

Grow with music…

Music Therapy can assist in the development of creative and imaginative play, improving improvisational skills, self esteem and confidence.  Group song writing, cooperative instrument playing and creative movement are used to improve social functioning, awareness and cooperation with peers. 


Communication
