To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter of commendation for Creative Exchange Music Therapy. Creative Exchange has provided music therapy services to students at the Easter Seals Therapeutic Day School for the past 8 years. As the program coordinator, and former teacher of students with autism, I have had the opportunity to witness, first hand, the positive impact that music therapy has had on our students.
Through my experiences, I firmly believe that music reaches students in ways that words and pictures cannot. Students who were once extremely introverted have come out of their shells, and appear to have established a connection with the music and instruments used during therapy sessions. Above all, the students genuinely enjoy the time they spend with the music therapists.
In closing, I would highly recommend the services that Creative Exchange Music Therapy provides. Music therapy is one activity that our students look forward to each and every week.
